Sam Primer Gray is a zinc-free epoxy powder primer designed for interior applications or as a base layer for various topcoats. It offers excellent chemical and corrosion resistance, along with strong adhesion and flexibility, making it suitable for steel and aluminum substrates.

TCI's Sam Primer Gray offers the flexibility to be used a primer for both powder and liquid coatings without containing the presence of zinc.
Appearance
- Color: Gray
- Finish: Low gloss (60° gloss: 5–8)
- Recommended Film Thickness: 2.0–3.0 mils

- Excellent Corrosion and Chemical Resistance: Withstands up to 1,000 hours in salt spray testing (ASTM B117)
- Strong Adhesion and Flexibility: Pencil hardness of H–2H; passes ½-inch mandrel bend test
- Impact Resistance: Direct and reverse impact resistance of 20 in-lb (ASTM D2794)
- Efficient Cure Schedule: Cures in 10 minutes at 400°F metal temperature
