Overview

TCI’s liquid industrial coatings Alkyd Topcoat is an economical topcoat option that provides good exterior color and gloss retention, a quick dry time, application flexibility, and excellent adhesion to even less than
pristine metal surfaces. This product is formulated for general industrial OEM use and refinishing.

Appearance

Good flow and leveling provide a smooth appearance while protecting metal surfaces from corrosion. Standard and custom colors are available in a 60 degree gloss range of 5-95.

• Fast drying, 30 minutes at 77°F

• Spray and dip application
• 240 hour salt spray and humidity performance
• Optional catalyst can be used to enhance dry time and initial hardness
• Can be applied direct to metal or over a primer
• Can be recoated before 8 or after 48 hours, subject to test patch verification
